On July 1st, 2022, the BIOMODEL4REGIONS project (Grant Agreement n° 101060476) kicked off in Brussels (Belgium) and as a consortium member Innovation Engineering had the pleasure to join the meeting to discuss with all partners the work plan and main activities to be carried out within the initiative.
BIOMODEL4REGIONS is a 3-year Horizon Europe project, with a consortium of 12 partners from 8 different countries funded with the aim of to support the establishment of innovative governance models at local/regional level and thereby strengthening EU and international science-policy interfaces to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
For BIOMODEL4REGIONS, Innovation Engineering will develop on-line management tool that will be set-up as part of the project website, that will include a web-based group-ware system with a full document management system, flexible role-based access rights, shared workspace enabling off-line shared editing, collaborative environment allowing the use of forum and blogs to post comments, provide opinions and doodle pool to organize conference calls and project meetings. The tool will also facilitate cross-sector collaborations among all stakeholders in the bio-based sector and provide a knowledge centre to share relevant project results.
In addition, Innovation Engineering will be supporting the Dissemination & Communication task of the project by developing the BIOMODEL4REGIONS website, brochure, poster and roll up.
Finally, Innovation Engineering will be supporting CiaoTech (PNO Group) – the coordinator of this initiative – in the Stakeholder Analysis of the project, making available the Wheesbee Platform.
